While Bad Girls Club forever remains the apex to which all reality TV should strive -- really, Deadliest Catch? Zzz -- the California Department of Motor Vehicles will try to match the drama and intrigue with its very own brand spanking, non-competitive reality TV show. Christened California DMV: Field Offices, the show, according to Entertainment Weekly, will be "co-produced by actor Ashton Kutcher and veteran reality TV exec Jason Goldberg" and "will look at what its like to work at one of the few state departments that touches nearly every Californian."
Billed as a "fun and fast paced" series, the countless mental meltdowns that erupt at DMVs around the country should prove entertaining for the home viewer. The show will focus on "hard-working personnel who deal with everything from issuing licenses and registering vehicles to maintaining accident records and investigating complaints."
No word yet on a broadcast date, or which DMVs they will use during filming.
