SFPD is asking for help in finding Maurice James, age 29, who has been missing since last Sunday. According to a Bay City News report that has been going around, James was last seen wearing a red t-shirt and leather pants and was reportedly heading to a beach on Sunday.

BCN reports James description as a 6-foot-tall black man with black hair and brown eyes about 155 pounds. However, a friend writes in with additional info:

29 years of age, 6'0, 155 lbs, hazel eyes and a shaved head, 2 tattoos (one on his inner forearm near the bend near his elbow and another is is on his upper arm near his shoulder. both are in the tribal style). Usually wears silver framed glasses and should have on a black leather coat.

Recent photos on a Facebook page put up for James seem to confirm the updated description.

At least one woman remembers seeing someone matching his description hanging around the cliffs at Baker Beach on Monday or Tuesday, but no other leads have turned up yet. His wallet and cell phone were left in his apartment.
