Why Are You Not Living in Tony Bennett's Mansion Already?

Why Are You Not Living in Tony Bennett's Mansion Already?

The classy crooner may have left his heart in San Francisco, but now he's also leaving his home in Belvedere. As Curbed points out today, Bennett's lavish bayside estate is up for sale for a mere $27.5 million.

For more than twice the price of the next most expensive house on the Tiburon-adjacent isle of Belvedere you get five bedrooms, three spacious lawns, views from Mt. Tam to the Bay Bridge and a bonus guest apartment for any friends who might be hosting their own after hours parties. That seems reasonable.

Actually, we're kind of surprised Larry Ellison hasn't already snatched this one up to use as an America's Cup viewing area. Either way, while you wait for your good old, local SF accountant to run the numbers, Curbed has the virtual home tour.
