A suspect who was mentioned, but not identified, in the AirBnB case might be a 19-year-old woman from the peninsula the Examiner reports. SFPD couldn't confirm whether Faith Clifton of Belmont was the person who rented E.J's apartment before completely destroying it, but the Examiner confirmed that Clifton is a person of interest and currently in custody in Santa Clara County for charges unrelated to the AirBnB incident.
The San Francisco DA hasn't filed any charges in San Francisco yet, but Clifton was booked in Santa Clara County back in June on an arrest warrant issued in Milpitas. According to the Ex, she has already pled guilty to "possession of stolen property, counterfeiting equipment and a forged driver’s license." No word yet on whether any of she was holding anything belonging to our blogging AirBnB hostess.
