FILM: Mary Lou, which is screening tonight as part of the ongoing 31st Annual Jewish Film Festival, has been called Israel’s answer to Glee, featuring "infectious pop songs and high-energy choreography," "colorful plot twists, hearty doses of high school ennui and candid explorations of LGBT life in contemporary Israel." DANCE: AXIS Dance Company and Dandelion Dancetheater present The Dislocation Express, a set of performances that begin with Act I at the Ed Roberts Campus (near Ashby BART Station) and end with Acts II and III outside of the Walnut Creek BART Station.
