Rockridge / Burning Body: A burning female body was dumped in the quiet, wealthy Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland around 4:40 a.m. this morning at the intersection of Ivanhoe and Chabot Streets, and multiple neighbors called in to report it. The body appeared to have suffered trauma, but neither the age nor race of the victim could be reported because of the extent of the burns. Marin / Water Rescue: Three teenagers got swept out to deep water by a riptide around 6 p.m. yesterday while trying to get to a secluded cove near Tennessee Valley Beach. Two of them were pushed back to shore by the current, while one girl had to be retrieved by a person on the beach, who in turn had to be rescued when he was pulled out by the undertow.
