Portola / Armed Robbery: On May 25, the second of two reported cases occurred in which prospective car buyers were lured, via craigslist, to an address that didn't exist in an unfamiliar neighborhood, only to be robbed at gunpoint by two assailants wearing Scream masks. Mission / Purse Thefts: Police are asking people to be on the lookout for a suspect they're calling The Bluetooth Bandit. He's a pigeon-toed black male, age 40-50, between 5'8" and 5'11", and usually wears a Bluetooth device. He targets females with purses or jackets slung over chairs in cafes. [Mission Local]
Fresno / Shooting: A 2-year-old shot his 6-year-old step-sister with a handgun he found in his parents' bedroom on Sunday. Police have since recovered 53 weapons from the home, and removed other children to the care of relatives. [Fresno Bee]
