In a story fit for Maury, a young mother was stabbed in the eye late Thursday morning during an argument with another woman, reportedly over a man who has had children with both ladies. Here's how it went down: The victim saw the other momma in the area and a verbal joust erupted. Like any good mother would do, the victim then escalated the situation and got a kitchen knife but she didn't use it against the other mother, "who apparently had another knife or sharp object and stabbed her." Then, 27-year-old Michelle Singletary was arrested for the eye stabbing, which went down in the 900 block of Ellsworth Street," reports BCN (via SF Appeal).
The victim will survive her injuries. We can only hope that, like Maury might urge at the end of a dramatic paternity test, the two work it out for the sake of the children.
