Steve McQueen fans and Mustang enthusiasts might want to take note, our hardworking San Francisco Film Office has announced that an LA-based production company will be in town tomorrow shooting a commercial recreating the classic 1968 chase scene between McQueen's 1968 Mustang Fastback and a jet black Dodge Charger. According to Bay City News, "filming will take place on Montgomery, Bush, Sansome, Sutter, Pine, Washington, and Clay streets between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday," and will also include a staged shootout. So don't mind the gunshots in the FiDi tomorrow. The commercial is apparently for "4-D technology being advertised by a Korea-based movie theater chain." We have no idea what 4-D technology is, but it sounds like it involves time travel. Neat?
