COMEDY: The folks at Uptown Almanac present a cutting edge Locally-Sourced Pop-Up Comedy Night, which promises that no NIMBYs will be in attendance (but the Mission Mission crew will be) and complimentary PBRs will be awaiting your consumption. Hit up the after-party at Delirium following the show. (7:30 p.m., Roxie Theater, 3117 16th Street)

MUSIC: It's a night of quirky, comedic music at the Hemlock tonight. Kooky Tim and Eric regular David Liebe Hart and his repertoire of puppets will headline, with funnily named guests, Cool Ghouls and Nervous Energy ("one-man mix of Sparks, Devo or Wall of Voodoo with Oingo Boingo style vocals thrown in"). (9 p.m. // Hemlock Tavern, 1131 Polk Street)

THEATER: You still have a couple of weeks to check out The Lily's Revenge at Magic Theater, in which playwright and burlesque performer Taylor Mac and his cast tackle the issue of gay marriage using "vaudeville, haiku, drag queens, ukuleles, feminist theories, dream ballets, public dressing rooms, and everything else in Mr. Mac’s theatrical arsenal." SFist Jay describes the play as "epic, (quite literally, clocking in at 5 hours including intermissions), varied in style, hilarious, intelligent, and clumsy in the best of ways." (7 p.m., Magic Theater, Fort Mason Center, Building D)
