Outer Richmond / Brawl With Bat: A major brawl broke out between two men around 10 p.m. Saturday on the 800 block of 47th Avenue, with one bludgeoning the other with a baseball bat, and the other, age 47, stabbing the baseball bat attacker with a knife to the stomach. The baseball-bat victim's injuries are considered life threatening. [Examiner]
SoMa / Hammer Attack: An 18-year-old man was attacked by multiple assailants at 4:45 p.m. Friday at Natoma and Sixth Street. He was hit in the head with a hammer and punched and kicked multiple times. Nothing was stolen from his person and there is no known motive for the attack. [Examiner]
Visitacion Valley / Stabbing: A 22-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the head and knee with a switchblade of some sort, following an argument on the 200 block of Hahn Street around 11:45 p.m. last night. A 79-year-old woman was slashed in the hand when she tried to intervene in the attack, and the attacker fled the scene. There has been no arrest. [Appeal, Examiner]
