ART: Tonight is the opening reception gala for the 11th Annual Art Explosion Spring Open Studios, which is happening all weekend. Over 140 artists, including painters, sculptors, photographers, fashion designers, jewelers and textile artists, will exhibit their work from where it gets made -- their studios. MUSIC: Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive's L@TE Programmer Betty Nguyen presents Pigeon Dealers, an evening of improvisations with Los Angeles-based artist Dave Muller as DJ, and featuring the band Bronze, films by David Enos, and Chris Thayer doing standup, providing "a treasure hunt for knowledge through the medium of entertainment."
