The Disposable Film Festival kicks off its fourth year celebrating short films made on everyday equipment like cell phones, pocket cameras, and other inexpensive video capture devices tomorrow night. Get your tickets now for the opening night event at the Castro Theatre showcasing the best disposable films of the year, which usually sells out.

The festival continues through Sunday with a line-up that includes an industry panel and "schmoozefest," a filmmaker spotlight with Christopher McManus in conversation with Vimeo's Andrea Allen, a workshop and concert with indie duo, Pomplamoose, who will share methods, tips, and tricks for documenting your work and making your own VideoSongs, a panel on how disposable film is spurring social change, and a workshop featuring the tips and tricks of disposable storytelling, shooting, editing, and distribution.

We just might have to go through our cell phone vids and see if any are worthy for submission to next year's fest!
