Cort Holbrook, 41, who The Chronicle notes works as an engineer, was arrested yesterday afternoon under suspicion of murder for allegedly stabbing another driver during a traffic-related dispute in Livermore. The victim drove himself to the nearby Valley Memorial Hospital, which unfortunately does not have a trauma center. Staff contacted police, and the man was sent by ambulance to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley.
Police were notified at 5:45 p.m. that the victim had died. His name hasn't been released yet pending notification of his family, and there haven't been many details released regarding the incident either.
