Now, after forecasters predicted snow might not hit San Francisco this season, the Chronicle claims that it could fall as early as Thursday morning. "Thursday evening, not Friday evening, is now the target time for wet whiteness to start dropping on the region as an Alaskan cold front sweeps in," Kevin Fagan coos. "The first flakes are supposed to fall in the North Bay, but by Friday afternoon, people in downtown San Francisco could well be gawking at them as well."

For those of you who hail from other states or parts of the world where it snows, we apologize for our bizarre excitement at frozen water. However, the mere thought of making snow angels in Dolores Park is the most to say the least.

Also, if flakes fall tomorrow morning, be sure to snap a few pictures and either tag them in Flickr with 'sfist' or send them to brock[at]sfist.com.
