Over the twitwires we spotted this mention of Jude Law this a.m., from a patron of the Sports Club L.A. at the Four Seasons: "Ran into Jude Law at the club (the guy's a star!) & think I managed to say something sensible." Could Jude be staying at the Four Seasons? Not that we want to encourage stalking, but, that was a pre-9 a.m. sighting.

As we mentioned earlier, Steven Soderbergh and his Contagion co. are filming some major crowd / chaos scenes at Candlestick today. Still, sadly, there have been far too few sightings reported of Misters Law and Damon, not to mention Laurence Fishburne, Gwyneth, Kate and the gang, and frankly, we're disappointed in all of you. They can't all just be holed up in their hotels when they're not shooting.

Of note: We came across some more synopsis of the film today, as well as a character breakdown, and we thought we'd share. Jude plays a blogger! Lolz.

Plot:

Cast:
- Gwyneth Paltrow as Beth Emhoff, a business woman back from a trip in Asia and who's struck down by a mysterious ailment
- Matt Damon as Thomas Emhoff, Beth's husband, who's forced to care for his wife, and soon his step-son, as her condition worsens.
- Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Ellis Cheever, the head of the Center for Disease Control (CDC)
- Kate Winslet as Dr. Erin Mears, she works for the CDC
- Marion Cotillard as Dr. Leonora Orantes, a European doctor who's working for the World Health Organization
- Jude Law as Alan Krumwiede, a blogger with an unfortunate interest in conspiracy theories.
