February is National Spay and Neuter Month, and the Humane Society's 17th Annual Spay Day takes place on Tuesday, Feb. 22. In conjunction with the event, San Francisco SFPCA will be offering free spay and neuter services for cats and dogs of San Francisco residents during the whole month of February.
Overpopulation is the number one killer of cats and dogs in the U.S. So, if your pet still hasn't been fixed, here's your chance. (We hope all those macho dudes who strut around our 'hood with their "bejeweled" pit bulls read this.)
