Or a liquor license, at least: Over at Grubstreet, SFist's own Jay Barmann spotted the approved license for Chris Daly and his business partner Teddy Stawser at Buck Tavern on Market Street. Meaning the next time you're in the Buck buying drinks, you're buying them from the outgoing supervisor. Well, once the license gets the final signature it needs anyway - which according to Chris Roberts, quoting Daly over at the Appeal, will definitely be before 2011.

After all the kerfuffle Daly had with Buck Tavern's landlord back in October, it looks like he'll be content to sling drinks for now. He's still holding out for a better deal on a long-term lease before he commits to any improvements at the mid-Market drinking establishment. Which, you know, is almost exactly like what happened with that sailboat thing he tried to put a stop on.
