According to the Appeal, DUI arrests around the Bay Area for the Holiday weekend (Wednesday evening through early Saturday morning) were up to 177, which is 40 more than the same period last year (which doesn't even include Saturday night). Luckily, the higher number of arrests seems to have worked to bring down the number of accidents as there were zero highway fatalities reported. Still, you mother is probably so disappointed.
