Two shootings occurred in the city last night:

The first, a fatal shooting near the intersection of Buchanan St and Geary Blvd in Japantown occurred around 8:55pm. Bay City News provides scant few details other than the victim was a woman in her 20's who died at the scene. No arrests have been made yet. [SFAppeal]

The second shooting occurred late last night/early this morning at 12:28am about a block from SF General on Hampshire St. The victim sustained minor injuries, but the Examiner had no luck reaching a police spokesperson for comment. [SFEx]
