SFChefs 2010 proved a smashing success. Again. After such culinary names as David Burke (Townhouse, David Burke Las Vegas), Lidia Bastianich, Dominique Crenn (Luce), Elizabeth Falkner (Orson), Matt Accarrino (watch him teach how to shell a crab!), Emily Luchetti (Farallon and Waterbar), and a host of others contributed to the food seminars and/or colossal buffet, the much-ballyhooed affair raked in $10,000 for the Golden Gate Restaurant Association, according to Eater.
Perhaps this windfall could inspire member restaurants to stop pointing out their Healthy SF surcharge? So childish. There's no shame in losing gracefully.
