Oakland Airport Connector Wins BART Board Approval

The Oakland Airport tram line project, which recently lost out on $70M in federal stimulus money, is moving forward regardless via a new creative funding plan that makes up for the $70M in various ways. The BART Board voted 8 to 1 for the plan, with SF's director Tom Radulovich the sole dissenter.
