George Constanza's boss, Yankees owner George Steinbrenner, died of a heart attack this morning. Although we never saw his face, America grew to love his signature crusty-but-benign voice. A lover of eggplant calzones and fancy mustard, Steinbrenner was most famous for calling Costanza into his office, then rambling on about pointless topics, forcing George to slowly walk out the door. Constanza was hired by Steinbrenner after he accused the former Yankees demigod of taking the NYC baseball team and reducing them to a laughing stock, "all for the glorification of [Steinbrenner's] massive ego." He will be missed.
