To say Kamala Harris has had a rough week would be putting it mildly. What with the Chronicle's explosive report on the District Attorney's lack of disclosure of police officers' criminal records, and SF Weekly's cover story on her conviction rates, or lack thereof, it's been a brutal one.
Hardly a malignant week for her career, sure, but... a very, very difficult one.
On the brighter side, Harris did release this statewide campaign video today. Describing her as "California's most innovative District Attorney" -- trademark: Police Chief George Gascon -- Harris' television ad makes her look tough on crime while using her telegenic prowess to the hilt.
