According to KGO Radio's Twitter feed, Folsom Street between 7th and 8th Streets are closed due to "SFPD dealing with an officer-involved shooting at 7th and Folsom. Police say they fired on a woman who'd been crashing her car into others." Police say the unidentified woman had tried "to run down the responding officers, which is why they fired at her. She's at the hospital."
CBS 5 says the incident occurred at Howard and Langton streets.

Update: "The preliminary information we're receiving is that a female driver who was driving erratically struck several vehicles," SFPD Officer Samson Chan told CBS 5. "Responding officers attempted to stop her and she attempted to run over one officer who basically discharged his firearm, striking her."
More than 20 officers arrived at the scene, including San Francisco Police Chief George Gascon.
