In a surprising yet not at all surprising move, the SFWPC endorsed Janice Hahn for Lieutenant Governor over Mayor Gavin Newsom. "With 69% of the vote," the SFWPC graciously notes, the typically Gavin-happy group gathered at CAV Wine Bar & Kitchen (arguably, one of the best wine bars in SF) last night to determine endorsements. Between carfeful sips of sherry and bites finger sandwiches, the ladies tipped of their hat to the LA-based candidate.

Although Newsom failed to win the coveted endorsement, Newsom did make a special guest appearance to deliver a speech on his behalf.
