At Wednesday night's game against the Houston Astros, the Giants' Eugenio Velez sported a jersey with misspelled embroidered stitching that said, "San Francicso." The goof went unnoticed until the 7th inning when Velez took the field for a double switch. He later went on to walk and score the final run in the 10-4 win against the Astros.
Velez says he was unaware that his shirt was defective. Velez, who is Dominican, reportedly responded, "¡Increíble!"
We say that shirt's a keeper -- put it in a frame!
