Blick Art Supplies is moving from their current location on Van Ness into a much bigger spot along the "liveliest" stretch of Market Street this summer, just a couple of doors down from the former Pearl Art & Craft Supplies (RIP).

It will now be a Blick Arts and Crafts Superstore, so fortunately there will still be a convenient and more affordable alternative to Flax. We haven't been to Flax in a long time though -- so what do you all think, how do their prices hold up?

Also, we just learned that Blick has various free demonstrations on Saturdays. Tomorrow there will be a printmaking demo and next Saturday a canvas stretching demo.
