The disturbed boy suspected of shooting a Vallejo ice cream truck worker was arrested yesterday. Officers from Vallejo police and the FBI went to an Oakland residence in the 1100 block of 73rd Avenue, where they found Montenegro "leaving the home carrying suitcases and accompanied by three individuals." The creep was arrested without incident, and the three individuals were detained, then released, for harboring a fugitive.
Montenegro, if you recall, is alleged to have shot Amarjit Kaur, 39. Though she survived the attack, Kaur "was found wounded in the chest and slumped over the wheel of her ice cream truck in the area of Spring Road at Castlewood Drive" on Feb. 3.
