A taxi driver was beaten, stabbed, and robbed last night at about 7:15 p.m. while on the 200 block of States Street, off of Castro above Market Street. The 50-year-old driver is said to be in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times, and is being treated for his injuries at SF General.
According to Police Officer Boaz Mariles, who spoke with the Oakland Tribune, the suspect is described as a black male in his twenties who was wearing a black and gray hoodie (yeah, that's gonna help). It is unclear whether the suspect was a passenger in the cab, but it is clear that he remains at large.
