Donna Reed -- the Texan vocalist who works for DRI, the company Muni used to record the digital voice you hear cooing on the bus -- isn't a local. Clearly. CBS 5's Mike Sugarman reports that locals have been baffled by Reed's mispronunciation of several local spots: Visitacion (using the Spanish pronunciation), Sansome ("San-SO-me") and "Noe" ("No").

"I'm living in Houston, so I probably read it the way you'd say it in Houston," Reed explains to Sugarman. "Believe me, people have been telling me that they are hearing funny sounding names."

Muni's odd digital voice re-recordings comes on the heels of last weeks massive route changes.
