How did your Muni ride go? It should have been nothing short of seamless, at least according to a MTA press release. "Muni service is going smoothly on the first weekday of the implementation of the most extensive Muni service changes in a generation," MTA spokesman Judson True sent out to other reputable news agencies at 7 a.m. today. "No significant delays have been reported."

Muni, if you recall, altered its schedule over the weekend, causing fatal changes to such popular bus lines as the 2-Sutter, 4-Clement, and hipster fave the 26-Valencia -- a VIP-ish bus line white folks of the Mission preferred to ride so as not to mingle with the Latino-rich 14-Mission and 49-Van Ness lines )

SF Appeal reports that "as of 7:00 a.m., Muni service is going smoothly on the first weekday of the implementation of the most extensive Muni service changes in a generation. No significant delays have been reported."

It was also reported that "some NextMuni predictions are inaccurate, and the SFMTA is working with the contractor to fix them."

MuniDiaries has a slew of bus line obituaries.
