MUSIC: The 8th annual Outsound New Music Summit, which is happening all week, invites you to Touch the Gear. The event is a free, hands-on, family-friendly environment that allows audiences to roam among the artists and their sonic inventions, asking questions, making noise and learning how these often one-of-a-kind set-ups work, demystifying the technology while inspiring the creativity.

THEATER: In the comic drama, The Unexpected Man, "an aging novelist on a train from Paris to Frankfurt muses about the failings and frustrations of his life. He is recognized by an attractive woman sitting in the opposite seat. Should she speak to him? Or simply take his latest book out of her handbag and start reading?"

ART: This exhibit sounds a bit kooky. Apparently, Pickles the Labrador has created some artwork that will be on display at this hair salon/art gallery? Free Tartlettes and Champagne will be served.
