Death on I-280

A 45-year-old Gilroy man was struck and killed by a 29-year-old Woodside man's BMW early this morning on I-280. According to reports, the unidentified man might have been "a passenger on a tour bus that had stopped nearby" who walked directly into on coming traffic. After being stuck by the initial vehicle, the victim was pummeled by a few other cars as well. But this is all speculative, we should point out, as the CHP has yet to figure it all out yet.
