Curiosity and a unique line-up of craftspeople, performers, and artists drew folks to Mission Bazaar, the Armory's first public event in 30 years.
For those who haven't heard, the San Francisco Armory, a 200,000-square-foot reproduction of a Moorish Castle right in the heart of the mission, was recently bought by kink.com.
Unfortunately, the event did not reveal much of the mystery behind the stone walls. Instead, it was good wholesome fun as attendees were guided into the the drill court, a huge room covering nearly an acre. The space had a few stages and lots of vendor booths selling hipster essentials like eclectic belt buckles and unusual fashion hacks.
