She's been found safe! With friends! And she's a bit of a spitfire! According to Marisa Lagos' sleuthing over at the Gate, McGee (who we reported as missing yesterday) took off from her home on Monday because her mother found "inappropriate text messages" sent to her daughter. Then, the two had it out, and Billie ran away. Anyway, she was found safe with friends, not dead in a ditch somewhere.

Her family had incorrectly told police that her daughter went missing after "leaving to catch a Muni bus."

So, what did those text messages reveal? We simply must know! Some have speculated it was an older man. Intriguing. And creepy. But at least she's safe.
