THEATER: The Keanu Reeves/Patrick Swayze xtreme-sports/surfer/heist film, , gets the stage treatment via the LA-based theatrical spectacular, Point Break Live! Yes, you read right, it has been adapted for the floorboards. What's more--in between lavishing praise on Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger the Highway 80 overpass and punking his subject--Mayor Gavin Newsom has christened today, April 11, 2008, Point Break LIVE! Day.

Anyway, the mood is "10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife," Keanu-style, over at Xenodrome tonight. LA Times and LA Weekly gave it a rave reviews; so will you.
