COMEDY: SF Supervisor Tom Ammiano attempts a return to stand-up comedy at the Makeout Room's "Laughing Liberally Local 415 with Will Durst" tonight.
MUSIC: Indie folk/country jazz duo Dean & Britta (former Luna members) perform at Yoshi's-SF. "Mazzy Star-like" songstress Keren Ann joins them as well. SOLD OUT. Alas. (Well, how about Flipper over at Amoeba, performing at 6 p.m.? We don't really know much about this '80s punk band. Sorry. Although according to flavorpill, Kurt Cobain seemed to like them. So...there you have it.)
