Everybody's favorite Project Runway mentor is in the area on Friday and Saturday to promote his new book , which covers topics like: how to shop (broken down into designer, chain, and vintage), creating your own personal style, and even how to improve your posture. ("I don't know. I just don't love it," we hear him saying worriedly to a slouching hipster.)
So exciting! Stop by, pick up a book, and check out the crowds -- we're sure there's going to be some fine clotheshorse-watching (and tag your Flickr pictures SFist so we can all see!) Next: can we get Nina Garcia, fashion director of Elle Magazine?
Tim's appearances:
Friday May 4: Rakestraw Books in Danville: 7-9 p.m., which features a 25 minute Q&A but is $30 and also features a fashion show;
Sat May 5: Books Inc., SF Opera Plaza at noon (with only a 10 minute Q&A);
Book Passage in Corte Madera: 4-6 p.m. (also only a 10 minute Q&A).
