We saw hundreds of marchers start in the Mission and head up to Civic Center in front of City Hall yesterday. The focus on issues relating to undocumented residents and workers matched last year's event. Namely, amnesty, stopping deportations and the raids from ICE, the border fence, etc. But the parade in San Francisco yesterday certainly looked different owing to the large number of American flags. You'd have to go to a Veterans Day parade to see more stars and stripes at one place in San Francisco. Estamos Unidas.
