While we were stuck in some really bad traffic this morning, we turned on the radio to get a traffic report and heard that we weren't the only ones having a rough commute. Those riding the N Judah and the J Church found their commute messed up when an overhead wire came tumbling down at the corner of Church and Duboce Streets. Shuttle services were set up to get those commuters to where they needed to go and Muni officials say everything should be up and running around now.
Also, we can't find this online yet, but according to the radio, there was a problem on BART near Hayward causing half-an-hour delays. And speaking of Hayward, one of those big rigs had an accident (oops) early this morning and they're still cleaning things up, probably because it was a vegetable truck and there's vegetables scattered all over the place. Traffic is backed up on the southbound side of Interstate 880 just north of the San Mateo Bridge.
