It was about a year and a half ago when we interviewed a colorful local eccentric about his plans to rip off The Birds and then go to the moon. Since then, things have been kind of quiet; but imagine our delight when we got an email, late last night, notifying us that a trailer for the film is finally available. Which is pretty impressive, since filming hasn't started yet.
The trailer is nothing less than we could have expected for a film with this synopsis: "A flock of eagles, falcons, hawks, vultures attacks the residence of a small town. Many people died."
There really are no words; no way to prepare you for what you are about to see. All we can say is this: we've seen a lot of fantastic films -- Xanadu, Robot Jox, The Apple, Danger Diabolik, Deathstalker, Trog, Superman Returns, Waxworks II: Lost in Time, Santa Claus Versus the Martians ... and yet, like Barbarella in the Excessive Machine, this film may outdo them.
The trailer itself is a bit lengthy, but fear not: we downloaded it, re-edited it to fast-forward through the boring parts, and placed it on YouTube for your convenience. If you're feeling bold, you can see the original (in 1080p!) on the official site. Otherwise, just watch:
