Yes, tonight is the State of the Union speech which means it's a good time to do something that doesn't involve watching TV. But to help you survive tonight, here is the Official SFist Care Package.

First up is a parody of last year's speech. Yes, it's a year old (which is why there's a fat guy sitting behind the President when tonight there'll be our Little Nancy) but we never saw it and it's still funny. Almost as funny as the Battlestar Galactica parody but we're geeky that way. Pay careful attention to the guy playing Cheney while you're watching.

We also have a drinking game for you as there's no way to survive things like this without drinking. And here it is: go to a bar, one that plays very loud music, and drink heavily.

And finally, for those of you still wanting to brave TV, here's where you can see a list of what else is on tonight. We don't know about you, but nothing says staying informed abut the state of the union like watching "The Hills" at 6:30.
