For those who don't know, San Francisco Sketchfest was started six years ago and is about two weeks of performances by comedians, comedy troupes and improv groups. This year's show includes not just local acts like Kasper Hauser and Killing My Lobster but well known, even slightly famous stars. This year will feature Mr. Tobias Funke himself (David Cross) as well as his "Arrested Development" co-star, Tony "Buster" Hale. Cross, by the way, will be taking part in something called "Match Game Live" and as Match Game was our favorite game show, we are stoked. There will also be performances by former Kids in the Hall star Bruce McCulloch, Bob Odenkirk and the comedy troupes Upright Citizens Brigade: A.S.S.S.S.C.A.T., Naked Babies (Rob Corrdry from "the Daily Show" is a member), and Stella. Also featured are VH-1 mainstays Doug Benson and Paul F. Tompkins. And for it's big event, they will have a tribute to Paul Ruebens.

This year SFist is not only covering the crap out of it, but also sponsoring it. So we are doubly stoked.

Anyways, you can check out the full list of performers here. Schedule and dates can be seen here and you can buy your all important tickets here.
