Well, if you want to check the schedule of events, go here. There's plenty to choose from and it seems like something is going on everywhere at all hours. Everyone's favorite event is the Lit Crawl which will happen next Saturday night from 6:00-9:30pm all along Valencia in the Mission. With 150 authors appearing in thirty-one venues over 3.5 hours, think of it as Litquake distilled ... and as anyone's who's attended a Lit Crawl will tell you, "distilled" is the operative word.

Also of note is Wednesday night which will feature a conversation on "America at War: Al-Qaeda, Iraq, and the Politics of Terror" featuring New Yorker contributors Lawrence Wright (author of the best-selling The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11) and Mark Danner (author of The Secret Way to War: The Downing Street Memo and the Iraq War’s Buried History, and professor of journalism at U.C. Berkeley). That should prove to be a night with more questions without answers and not-so-crazy theorizing than the episode of "Lost" playing at the same time. Wheee!
