Man, not only did we not see Tom Cruise in our work place today, we also missed the earthquake. The USGS is reporting a 3.7 quake centered in Moraga at about 1:41 p.m. today, with two small aftershocks. BART ran at half-speed as a result

Squinting at this map, it looks like folks in Sonoma, SF, and maybe ....Mountain View are reporting feeling something, but we can't say we noticed a thing. We did get the tip about Tom Cruise around that time, and there's also pile drivers thumping away a few blocks from us, so that's our excuse.

We never feel earthquakes. Will someone please come save us when we blithely miss the big one?
