Fletch is a lovable, huggable, smart dog who needs plenty of exercise and enrichment to keep him entertained. He is very good with his crate and will climb into it on his own and lay down. Fletch loves to curl up with his humans and has not shown aggression or dominance towards his foster family's dogs or dogs at the park. This peppy pup often initiates play with his dog friends. He loves to play fetch when he's not busy chasing squirrels and birds. Overall, he does well with cats and is very curious with kittens. (Though, there could be problems with less tolerant cats.) As Fletch gains more confidence in his forever home, his slight separation anxiety (as evidenced by chewing slippers) should improve. Fletch's new family will need to be sure to continue to teach him about the dangers of car traffic. Also, he can be an escape artist / fence hopper, but always comes back when called. He loves going for walks and following scents where ever they go -- so an experienced dog walker would be best. If you're ready for a lively & charming boy and can keep him entertained, then say Hello to Fletch!
