We'd like to interrupt our Bay Area coverage to direct y'all over to Gothamist, which is providing awesome coverage of the New York transit strike.

Our brother, who lives in Spanish Harlem and works in the Flatiron district, told us "I was actually depending on (Gothamist) last night, they were the only news after midnight." You guys already know that Gothamist f**king rulez, but it's especially exciting to see them in action at a time like this.

Even though we're not terribly familiar with New York, we're finding their coverage just fascinating. Definitely check them out.
