Speaking of bad blood, Yahoo announced it would undercut eBay-owned Skype by adding Voice Over Internet Protocol capability to its Yahoo Messenger at cheaper rates.

The National Broadcasting Company joined the Apple revolution by making episodes of some of its best shows, as well as "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," available from the iTunes Music Store for $1.99 a pop.

And there's a double-whammy of spite against Apple coming from Creative, as the company said it plans to "pursue aggressively" its patent on navigation systems for MP3 players (emphasis on "sue"), seeking licensing fees from Apple. Creative also released new versions of its Creative Zen line which are intended to compete directly with the iPod.
