Reports that SBC plans to rename itself AT&T after their proposed merger (which regulators are expected to approve shortly) have us thinking less about the issues of corporate consolidation and more about the really important stuff, like what they're going to call the ballpark.
It seems like just yesterday that we were watching Barry hit it out of Pacific Bell Park, but now that there will soon be no SBC, it seems inevitable that Kathleen Pender will have another chance to tell us to get over it. We can only assume that (barring a job change or scooter purchase) we'll soon be getting off the N Judah in front of AT&T park.
